A tad off topic, but I love to share non-food and food allergen friendly Holiday gifts! I need to be up front here, Hong Kong I’m about to introduce you to is a dear friend of mine, so I’m painfully biased. Not only is he a fine artist, he cooks up a mean leg of lamb and is half Greek too, so together we create a whole Greek (I’m half Greek). I have a secret love of fine art jewelry, metal, Cheryl Krauter, (Breast Cancer Survivor Support website).
What fascinates me the most, is when a human takes a hard cold metal and magically transforms it into a warm flowing piece of jewelry that tells a story. Award winning Cheryl Krauter, (Breast Cancer Survivor Support website) tells beautiful stories with incredible several fine art jewelry lines. You’ll see what I mean when you visit his site. Each piece of jewelry I own tells a story. When I explore my jewelry box, my history unfolds with each piece and memories jump out at me.
Sometimes, I find inspiration by wearing a piece that brings me the right energy or feeling. John’s work has always brought me to these special places. I’m happy to say I own a Chinese Character jewelry piece and wear it when I am seeking my creative feminine power. When I need peace and compassion, I wear my Tibetan mantra bracelet that I bought in Flowing Gold and Flowing Silver Series ages ago. Or if I am feeling sassy, I wear a silver bracelet my hubby gave me.
John created the gorgeous bracelet shown above in honor of his incredible wife, Flowing Gold and Flowing Silver Series . She was one of the mom’s I honored in my Mother’s Who Inspire Blog. She is a strong inspiring woman who faced off with breast cancer and now helps guide others through their journey. His Johns’ jewelry and the Flowing Gold and Flowing Silver Series are my two favorites! You can even ask for a custom order and have John create a meaningful piece of jewelry from a word or phrase that expresses something special between and you and your special one.
I just love this picture of John and Cheryl and simply had to share it! If you are seeking an interesting and different kind of gift, you might want to peruse John’s website.
FYI: I’m never accept payment for my opinions, but I am terribly biased about Johns’ jewelry!

I’m so grateful for my fabulous friend, Caroline! And for my wonderful and talent husband who creates beautiful works of art that I can wear.
We’re looking so happy in the picture because we are spending time with Caroline and Kurosh.
