Give Asthma Feedback Generate A Donation Too!

You are here: Home / Asthma - News / Give Asthma Feedback Generate A Donation Too!

December 12, 2012 By //  by Caroline Moassessi 2 Comments

Uh-Oh…this  link is not working and I need to shoot out the door to help in my daughter’s classroom.  I’ll try to find out what went wrong!  Hang tight!
Okay, we are back in business!  All links are working again!  Thanks for your patience.
The Allergy and Asthma Foundation of America (AAFA)  Shared this gem in their recent newsletter: visit www.asthmamonitor.org and give your feedback regarding a new device that is being developed.  Upon completion of the survey, Asthma Monitor will generate a donation to one of a few lung health organizations!  Such as, AAFA and the American Lung Association to name a few.

The survey did not take that long (around seven to 10 minutes) and as a consumer and parent of two children who might benefit from a home asthma monitoring device, I was pleased to be able to share my insight from a user perspective.  How many times have we tried out a new product and then thought, “what were they thinking?  Who that was a good idea?”  I don’t want to give away the survey as it was very interesting to take, but if such a device hits the market, I can see great value in using this device to avoid asthma attacks!

I’ll be very curious as to how the device will finally perform and if patient feedback truly did help guide development.  I’m sure our friends at AAFA will keep us posted!

Please share the survey with your asthmatic friends and family:  Asthma Monitor Survey.  I believe our patient feedback will lead developers to a product that will meet our needs.

Tools to consider for Eating Out

Eating out with Food Allergies can be quite challenging. For my family, we view eating out as a risk and we use a variety of tools to help us make educated choices.  Most importantly, if we get a gut feeling something isn’t right, we leave or my children don’t eat the item and we find safe options elsewhere...Eating out Tips - Know before you Go
