Food Allergy Walk and Conference HERE I COME!

You are here: Home / Food Allergy Lifestyle / Food Allergy Walk and Conference HERE I COME!

November 1, 2013 By //  by Caroline Moassessi 5 Comments

Wahoooo!  I’m traveling right now to Las Vegas to attend the Food Allergy Walk on Saturday morning and the Food Allergy Bloggers Conference on starting on Saturday evening.  I’ll have a booth there, so swing in to say hello!  I’ll be raffling off a darling little Crayola lunch set and a red first Aid box (think great place for teachers to store EpiPens®) with a Trust Your Journey bracelet set!   Saturday evening brings the opening night of the First Annual Food Allergy Bloggers Conference Vendor Meet and Greet!  Can we say fun?  I honored to speak on Monday with two incredible women who just inspire!  I will post about them next week–so you can meet them too.
Check out this Awesome Clip about the Gordin family and the Food Allergy Walk.  It aired on TV last night…

I’m sooooo excited to meet folks I have admired over the internet and am bracing myself or the Wine and Sign on Saturday night.  So many of my most beloved food allergy authors will be there and I don’t know how I’m not going to break my bank buying books I already own just so I can have them signed.  I’ll be posting on Twitter and Facebook the entire weekend, so you  can be there too—in spirit!  Find me at @gratefulfoodie on Twitter and on Facebook/Gratefulfoodie.

gratefulfoodie bucket This year at my booth, instead of recipes, I have a fun little memento for food allergy kind of mothers to share and labels for drinks!!

I return to Reno late Monday night, so I will post later in the week about the conference.  My iPad is not the best to try to post blogs on!  I need to buy a laptop (any suggestions)?

Have a great weekend food allergy friendly weekend!

Tools to consider for Eating Out

Eating out with Food Allergies can be quite challenging. For my family, we view eating out as a risk and we use a variety of tools to help us make educated choices.  Most importantly, if we get a gut feeling something isn’t right, we leave or my children don’t eat the item and we find safe options elsewhere...Eating out Tips - Know before you Go
