I hit the food allergy Halloween jackpot today thanks to my pal Charlene! I found the same brand of Candy Corn available at www.peanutfreeplanet.com at my local Dollar Tree for yes, you guessed it…one dollar! My children ate their first Candy Corn’s ever today. My food snob son even said it was pretty good–which truly surprised me. When he ate Goldfish crackers for the first time he cried out, “…this IS what American parents feed their children?!?!” He thought he was being poisoned! I thought I would share a few links that you might find useful to order up food allergy friendly Halloween candy.
Internet sites that I found who are currently offer Food Allergy Friendly, nut free, dairy free and other allergen free Halloween themed Candy:
Special note: be sure to call the manufacturers and do your home to ensure the items you order are allergen safe and appropriate for you and your family.

- Amanda’s Own Confections – Offer a fun looking Halloween festive wrapped chocolate bar, chocolate ghosts, bats and Halloween themed chocolate lollipops.
- Divvies – No matter what holiday we’re celebrating, I still can’t help buying those addicting Divvies’s Bingo Bars! Nevertheless, they sell larger sized chocolate ghosts, bats and cupcakes can be ordered with bright orange icing!
- Vermont Nut Free – Even though my kid’s can’t eat this chocolate (dairy cross contact issues), I love to visit their site as the day is coming closer! My son is now able to tolerate dairy baked into food. Vermont Nut free sells beautiful gift baskets including Halloween Marshmallows!
- Peanut Free Planet – You can even buy small Halloween sized candy here!
- Premium Chocolatiers– I just visited their home page thanks to Ted, who commented below. I am absolutely fascinated and curious now about their “Pea” Not Cups…they looked like Reese’s cups but have a brown pea in the center? Hum…this sounds very interesting needless to say. Also, the ghost holding the orange pumpkin is painfully cute too.
- Natural Candy Store -I just love this site since I can buy hard candy and my favorite Surf Sweets items, including my ever most favorite Yummy Earth Lollipops–(shh, I hide those too from my kids).
- Special note: Dana–our fabulous Las Vegas FAAN Walk chair just shared that Surf Sweets has limited time only gummy spiders: the link to Surfsweets Spooky Spiders!
- Huey’s Nut Free – This site offers a large assortment of Halloween shaped chocolates-including individually wrapped bite sized chocolate pumpkins.
If I am missing your favorite food allergy friendly Halloween Candy, please comment below and I’ll add it to our list!
Happy Monday!-Caroline
p.s. I’m trying out a new recipe with candy corn for my upcoming nut-free, dairy-free and egg-free Celebrations and Snack ebook–I’ll keep you posted with details as I get closer to completion.

Thank you so much for this! My son was just diagnosed with a severe peanut allergy and I’ve been doing research on every food item we’ve come into contact with since then! Feeling overwhelmed with trying to make Halloween normal for him and his older sibling, I happily stumbled over your post on candy corn while recently researching Halloween treats. I ran to our Dollar Tree and purchased candy corn and candy pumpkins from the same manufacturer, as well as several Tootsie products (also clearly marked as nut free). Thank you again for pointing me in the right direction. 🙂 I really enjoy your blog.

Hi Melissa, I am SOOOO happy you found some safe candy. I’m just about to order my kid’s first bag of Halloween candy mix from the Natural Candy Store (above) and root beer hard candies. I’ve always wanted to try to make root beer cupcakes and now I have my chance. We’re all learning and discovering together!
