Eat Food Allergy Safe Chocolate! Help Society

You are here: Home / Food Allergy Lifestyle / Eat Food Allergy Safe Chocolate! Help Society

I’ve been vindicated!  A study released earlier this year by the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology proudly announced that subjects who ate chocolate instead of non-sugary foods or nothing at all, were more likely to feel agreeable and volunteer their time to others!  Clearly, this is secret needs to be shared with non-profits nationwide.
Nut and Dairy Free Bingo Bars make me happy
Now that’s what I am talking about!!  Clearly, I enjoy good chocolate and my chocolate life came to a screeching halt 12 years ago with my son’s diagnosis of nut, dairy, egg and seed allergy (just to name a few of his allergens).  I couldn’t find any tasty chocolates for years.  Alas, the gods of chocolate smiled and now we have several fabulous options that are worthy flat-out culinary delights that I am pleased to share with my nut eating friends.

Here’s  a list of my favorites peanut free, tree nut free and some dairy free chocolates -Bonus some are wheat and gluten-free too!
Please Note: As always, contact the manufacturer to better understand any cross contact issues or recipe changes.

Thanks Caroline for mentioning us!! I really appreciate it! And yes, chocolate does do wonders for you, I knew it all along too! You’ll have to try our chips and bars too, they are just as tasty as our shaped pieces and our candy bars have a new wrapper that we love.
    Thanks again!!

Caroline, thank you so much for including us on your list! I keep telling people that chocolate has so many good qualities. Glad to see I wasn’t wrong! And it also complements a glass of wine. What a wonderful thing!
    Once again, thank you.

      Hi Yael,
I’ll keep my eyes open. You’re allergic to chocolate? I heard that folks allergic to nickel can’t eat chocolate due the naturally occurring nickel in chocolate. Have you heard that before?
