Cyrus really liked the App so I downloaded it too when I realized I knew the creator, who is a fellow Reno Collective co-workspace member, actually, he is one of the masterminds making the Collective the dream place that it is.  John explained that the App is meant to be useful and fun–he encouraged me to send myself a gram about personal goals or fun reminders for the future.  For example, I created a reminder for myself to pause during an upcoming busy weekend and find myself some tea.  I can leave myself fun messages without clogging up my calendar.
Note: John, the Futuregram Developer, did not pay me or ask me to write anything, nice, kinda nice or even nasty about his App.  I’m sharing since I think our food allergy and asthma community might find this simple and easy App as a useful tool.
 Cyrus Futuregram tested results…

  • Can input telephone numbers into the reminder (he liked this for reminders to setup meeting with friends to ski)
  • Easy to use
  • It’s Free (my favorite word) and you can upgrade to be able to send unlimited grams (Sale alert: the upgrade is on sale for only a mere 99 cents)
  • The pop up reminders are his favorite feature
  • No need to put in an end date
  • Easier inferace than calendar app
  • Met his need for speed with the easy input
  • You can upgrade to send unlimited
  • The upgraded sounds for the popup reminder are hilarious and peacful – like the long horn or Tibetan bell.  The horn has everyone in our household jumping!

What messages would you send yourself in the future?  Birthday reminders?  Jokes? Reminders asking if you really did start exercising daily?
