I copied this directly from The Motherhood website about the speakers. I have heard them all speak before they are full of incredible knowledge!
Join Lori Sandler, Gina Clowes founder of Allergy Moms, www.allergymoms.com, Barbara Rosenstein from the Food Allergy Initiative, www.faiusa.org (the world’s largest private source of funding for food allergy research), and Maria Acebal from The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network, www.foodallergy.org and a great team of co-hosts to talk about getting your child safely settled into school, and working with your school to keep your child safe and included. We’ll talk about reasonable accommodations in schools for children with allergies and how you can get them.
If you watch, post what you thought of it!

We have tried to get our school to go nut free , the only thing they will do is a peanut free table.
Our grandson is so allergic to nuts , we held him back until they promised that much.

I think it is very hard to get a school to go nut free and then monitor it to be honest. I’ve spoken to more kids who tell me they eat PB and J at their nut free school. BUT, a nut free table with support for your grandson is really key!
Do you have a 504 plan in place for your grandson? Here are two good websites: http://greenlaureldocuments.jimdo.com/ my pal Laurel runs this site and helps with 504 plans or my friend Gina does accomodation consulting too: http://69.89.31.172/~foodalm6/
