This Nurse Knows Food Allergies!

You are here: Home / Asthma - News / This Nurse Knows Food Allergies!

March 5, 2013 By //  by Caroline Moassessi Leave a Comment

I have mentioned food allergy educator, writer and nurse Anne Russell before, but I can’t help sharing some of her best Asthma Allergies Children that she writes for Asthma Allergies Children !  I follow her on Food Allergies; Elementary Schools Tips for Parents from a Couple of Veterans”religiously (@allergyeducator)and when I met Henry, author of Asthma Allergies Children face to face in January,  I was thrilled when I put the link together as I realized he knew her!  I’m an Anne fan (love how that rhymes), since she always cites her sources and provides additional resources regarding “Food Allergies Prescribed Injectable Epinephrine: Know, Practice, Carry, Use”, Food Allergies; Elementary Schools Tips for Parents from a Couple of Veterans”, “Teen Trip To Italy with Food Allergies: Prepare, Prepare, Prepare”, etc.   She links medical fact to practical living with food allergies, anaphylaxis and/or asthma in a plain and simple manner.
aasthma allergies children bookThe “Food Allergies Prescribed Injectable Epinephrine: Know, Practice, Carry, Use”website is actually an up-to-date resource that supports this book.  I’m currently reading this book right now and will report back soon.   So far, it is my favorite read of the year!!!  SOOOO practical.
” She is truly a visionary on the matter of clinical practice based on her experience in different medical specialties, her experience in clinical practice, teaching and her experience as a mother of a beloved son with food allergies, asthma and atopic dermatitis,” Henry shared with me during our nurse Anne fan club conversation.  In all seriousness, as a parent and someone who needs all my information vetted, Anne’s articles work for me and I thought you might find them interesting too.  Her bio can be found at the bottom of each article.
