Other than a gift card to Barnes and Noble or Gamestop, what could be the best gift for a boy turning 13 years of age? My friend Amy and Mike consistently buy my kids the best gifts year after year. They are gift giving rock stars. I keep waiting for the gift says “love…but keep me in the closet please”. This year was a show stopper: A USS Enterprise (from Star Trek) pizza cutter!

My dairy allergic son usually carries his own pizza cutter when we eat pizza in a restaurant. This way, there is never a mistake when slicing the pizza. It is our policy to order cheese-less pepperoni-do-not-cut and then he cuts it himself. Now, he has been elevated within the pizza cutting world.

Okay, I normally would not snoop around to see where a gift was purchased, but this one is too cool to not purchase for others with food allergies or Star Trek Lovers.
One of the hardest things I find about managing both life threatening food allergies and asthma is talking to others.
