Peppermint Nut-Egg-Dairy Free Cookies

You are here: Home / Asthma - News / Peppermint Nut-Egg-Dairy Free Cookies

gratefulfoodie-nutfreepost-img1Some days, I just need my cookies!  I bought as many allergen safe candy canes (Spangler) as humanly possible right after Christmas so I can keep on making nut-dairy-egg freePeppermint Cookies.  This recipe was adapted from the original Toll House cookie recipe.  I will use chocolate chips, add cinnamon or make these with no add-ins at all!  This is another one of my favorite basic recipes that I like to change up according to my mood.

What a great idea! Last year we made candy cane syrup with all of the leftover candy canes. 🙂

Cookies are my favorite, but I haven’t had any in far too long! I think I get frustrated with recipes not working at higher altitude and get bored with old stand-bys. I’ll have to try these!

Hi outstanding blog! Does running a blog like this take a
lot of work? I’ve very little knowledge of coding but I had
been hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyway, if you have any recommendations or techniques for new blog owners please share.
I understand this is off subject but I simply
had to ask. Thanks a lot!

I started freezing allergy safe candy canes and crush them up during the year! They are awesome. I wish Spangler would make peppermint sticks all year long.
