Today is our official day to flood the producers of the Ellen DeGeneres Show with requests for Kyle Dine, food allergy musician and educator, to appear on her show!!! Kyle performed here in Reno a few weeks and was absolutely fantastic. He provided just enough information, made carrying epinephrine and wearing Medic Alert bracelets cool and kept the children riveted for one hour worth of interactive learning, song and dance. He was effective to say the least. Therefore, I am asking you to join me in requesting Ellen to invite him onto her show!
Please submit your request for Kyle Dine to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show at: Ellen DeGeneres’ Be A Part of the Show webpage
Today, food allergic folks and their friends from Canada, the United States and Slovenia (don’t ask) are all emailing the Ellen DeGeneres Show to request Kyle’s appearance someday soon!
The request form is not very clear, so here are some details that might help you with the form:

On the form you can include a video or photograph, so if you have attended any of his performances, please use those or you can copy a picture from my blog about Kyle’s Reno performance, or even this blog!
Let’s keep our finger’s crossed that Ellen will hear our voices loud and clear, that we would love to see a food allergy musician and educator on her show talking about the seriousness of food allergies and how he uses song, dance and compassion to get OUR message across!

- You only get 1500 characters to “give your story”. Therefore, briefly say, “you want to see Kyle Dine on Ellen because……” and include your food allergy challenge or situation. This will help explain why Kyle is important to our awareness efforts.
- I explained that my two toughest challenges raising two food allergic children are first, educating the general public that this disease is serious and second to support my children to advocate for themselves.
- I believe that Kyle addresses both of these in an age appropriate manner for young elementary aged children.
- I also believe Kyle is a fabulous role model as he shows kids how he keeps himself safe.
