Times have simply changed. We have soooo many options for food allergy friendly Easter Candy and Treats now, it is amazing. To keep life simple, I thought I would share some websites that carry a fairly large variety of goodies that are nut free with many including dairy free, gluten free, egg free and other allergen or ingredient options. As always, call the manufacturer to ask ingredient questions specific to your family’s health and food allergy needs. Recipes change! If I missed one of your favorites, please add it to the comments below and I’ll include it in this list! Note: I was not paid or asked by any of the companies listed below to write about them–I hope to share resources with you–that’s all!

Happy Allergen Friendly Easter Candy Time!

- Amanda’s Own Confections– Easter and Passover Chocolates free of the top 8 allergens except the suncups.

- Gimbals – Jelly Beans (found in many grocery stores)- nut free, dairy free, egg free, soy free, gluten free and Kosher.
- Surf Sweets – Natural gummy candies (some spring designs and found in grocery stores)- free of the top 10 allergens: peanut free, tree nut free, dairy free, egg free, soy free, gluten free, fish free, shellfish free, sesame free and sulfite free.

- Pascha Chocolates (the name is quite appropriate at Easter)- elegant chocolate bars in many cocoa strength varieties (55%, 70%, with golden berries, with cocoa nibs)-nut free, dairy free, egg free, soy free, gluten free
One of the hardest things I find about managing both life threatening food allergies and asthma is talking to others. I hate to be the one that might be perceived as demanding, pushing or for asking too much. What I now know, fourteen years later, is that honest, clear information presented with kindness works!..

They are top 11 allergens free ( sesame too!) and don’t uses artificial dyes or sweeteners,,, all natural ..very aware of allergens. LOVE them!!
