Gratefulfoodie -pumpkin raisin cookiesFinally, after a gentle nudge from the fabulous Alisa Fleming, author of Go Dairy Free, I have joined the world of recipe print-outs! Currently, you can download my recipes as PDFs. Now, you can print them out, save them and they simply look better!
I recently updated this wonderful, memory making pumpkin cookie recipe. I got honest with myself revised the recipe to boast my favorites: sweet golden raisins! No more trying to fake my love of dark raisins or chocolate chips in this recipe.

Golden Raisin Pumpkin Cookies
Recipe Type: Dessert

Serves: 36 cookie
This is on Old Fashioned recipe that has been passed down generations! The best part: it is naturally nut-dairy-egg and soy free
Ingredients
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup golden raisins
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Lightly grease baking sheet
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and set aside
  4. In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, pumpkin, <g class=”gr_ gr_49 gr-alert gr_gramm undefined Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep” id=”49″ data-gr-id=”49″>oil</g> and vanilla extract
  5. Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture
  6. Stir in raisins
  7. Drop by teaspoon size onto prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between cookies
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until bottoms are slightly golden
  9. These taste amazing when served warm
