You are here: Home / Current Blog Post / Munching From the Peanut Free Platter

Peanutfree Treat Platter 2Too adorable for words!  Lucky me received this platter from Safe & Happy Family to review and take out for a culinary spin.  Thankfully, it arrived before the back-to-back weekend of crazy graduation celebrations hit.  Even better is that Safe Happy Family are offering a give-away of this darling platter (see below for details). Yes, this platter can be sitting in your kitchen drying off too!  Easily, this BPA free platter gets two big thumbs up for its low breakable factor (I’m sure if you drove over it with a car, there might be problems) and for the bright lovely message blazing across the platter: PEANUT-FREE TREATS.
This platter was easy to store and use.  I was able to place 15 nut free cupcakes on this platter. After our event, I wiped it with a hand wipe to pack in my #Nutfree re-usable bag–hey, I had to go all the way with nutfree messaging here!  At home, I just washed the platter up stacked it up on the shelf.  I have to admit, that I felt a twinge of jealousy that when my kids were little I didn’t these types of products available.  I enjoyed this platter due the messaging and the cheery hip design.  My platter of safe goodies looked marvelous and I love the reinforcement that when someone grabbed a yummy treat they saw the message that allergen safe foods are actually down right delectable.
Peanut Free Treats with cupcakesDisclaimer and why: I only write about items I find interesting, fantastic or something you might want in your life.  I was not paid to gush or happily use this platter.  Actually, I love an opportunity like this to share products from companies born out of the desire to find solutions for fellow food allergy types.  I also love that the founders are both scientists and artists.  Two of my favorite kind of people!  As mentioned, I am now the proud owner of a platter and have been using it for school events.  Nothing brings me more joy that sharing my treats with food allergic children who didn’t expect to find safe treats.
I invite you to enter to win this platter…GOOD LUCK!  I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much I will.  Please note: Safe and Happy Family will mail winner their prize directly.

Sounds like a fun way to spread awareness! I could see a selection of Sweet Alexis cookies looking irresistible on it! Or my favorite homemade chocolate cupcakes. Thanks for passing along this awesome idea/product!

Sunbutter cookies are my favorite too! Instead of using a fork to make the cross hatches, I use a spiral from the top of my food processer
