Am I seeing this clearly? Is the pumpkin on the Mike and Ike Halloween Variety Pack Teal? In addition, the pack included TWO non-candy items: pencils and erasers. Is this my Teal Pumpkin Project mind on over-drive or is Just Born just embracing life-threatening food allergies? Or can it be as simple as they are testing the water with non-food choices?
I found this little gem at Target in San Ramon, California last week when I attended the US Anaphylaxis Summit presented by the Allergy and Asthma Network and the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Connection Team Support Group Leaders Summit. The lovely Connie Green, co-founder of the California Advocates for Food Allergy took a quick shopping break and hit the Halloween section with gusto. Special Note: As always, read the label for changes and call the manufacturer to confirm the product is safe for your family’s allergies and health needs.
If the Teal Pumpkin support is true, then I encourage all of us to support Mike and Ike with maybe an email or a purchase to demonstrate the desire for such products! I went to grab the bag this morning and found a note from my daughter thanking me for buying the bag!
