I'm Excited! Asthma Tips in my Fav Magazine

You are here: Home / Asthma - News / I'm Excited! Asthma Tips in my Fav Magazine

December 5, 2014 By //  by Caroline Moassessi 3 Comments

Some of you might have heard that huge crazy shout out when Allergic Living made it’s US debut?  I was thrilled to buy the Canadian version and then over the top happy when they came to America.  Now I’m giddy with my article about Asthma Tips for the Holiday season to be included online for Allergic Living!  I adore this magazine since I can relate to absolutely everything in it.  When I flip through by beloved cooking magazines, I need to translate dishes into safe culinary delights.  Elle Magazine doesn’t fully apply to my “ample-ness” and Time is a favorite, but none of them are specific to my food allergy world.  Needless to say, I’m just goofy excited and wanted to share my article to make a point that we all need to slow down just a tad and if we have asthma, take  few precautions to avoid Prednisone and late night ER visits.  Being wiped out tired is one of my own asthma issues, so I spend as much time cutting out events as I do attending them during the holidays.
Note:  I used to take pictures of me drinking tea and reading.  Yup, I’m that kind.  Doesn’t take much actually.
How to Avoid Holiday Asthma Triggers

Thanks for listening to my shameless plug for my asthma tip article in Allergic Living Magazine (one last shameless plug).

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

I have found Allergic Living just a month after it’s inception. It has become a part of my family. The writers are some of the most compassionate people I know!
Not only do they provide reliable information is a language that is friendly to those of us who don’t have a medical degree, they go above and beyond simply providing information.
They have been a platform for change! They have initiated letter writing campaigns to create a safer world for those of us who are indeed living with allergies.
    Who does that? They do!

Tools to consider for Eating Out

Eating out with Food Allergies can be quite challenging. For my family, we view eating out as a risk and we use a variety of tools to help us make educated choices.  Most importantly, if we get a gut feeling something isn’t right, we leave or my children don’t eat the item and we find safe options elsewhere...Eating out Tips - Know before you Go
