Here is Your Big Awwww For the Day…

You are here: Home / Food Allergy Lifestyle / Here is Your Big Awwww For the Day…

July 11, 2012 By //  by Caroline Moassessi Leave a Comment

Now this is sweet brotherly love in its finest of hours: big bro Aaron is raising funds to help find a cure for his food allergic little brother.  Aaron created a music CD of original compositions and is gifting it to folks who donate to him for the Contact@aaronpetersonmusic.com, which will be held this October 6th, 2012.   This amazing 16-year-old boy created this touching video in honor of his brother Spencer.  This is truly my favorite awww moment of the year!

Here is Aarons’ message to us…

“My name is Aaron Peterson and I’m 16 years old.  I enjoy playing the piano and like to compose my own songs.  My brother Spencer is the Honorary Youth Chair for the FAAN Walk for Food Allergy in Las Vegas, Nevada.   I’m offering my music CD, Finding Hope, to you in lieu of a donation to FAAN on behalf of my brother Spencer.  Please visit my website aaronpetersonmusic.com which includes my contact info, my video, hear my music, and also the link to contribute to Spencer’s FAAN webpage.  Please email me your address so I can mail you a CD.  Thanks for your support and I hope you enjoy my music.”

Okay, even though Gratefulfoodie has a Virtual Las Vegas walk team  and I wanted the world to donate to me, I am humbled by this sweet, talented young man and need the world to donate to his team!  Hey, you’ll receive an original music CD and when Aaron is on the cover of magazines you can say that you supported him way back in the day and you knew all along that he would become famous.

Aaron, you are a gift to your brother and to our food allergy community!  Keep up the good work and I look forward to meeting you in person on October, 6th at the FAAN Walk for Food Allergy in Las Vegas, NV!

Tools to consider for Eating Out

Eating out with Food Allergies can be quite challenging. For my family, we view eating out as a risk and we use a variety of tools to help us make educated choices.  Most importantly, if we get a gut feeling something isn’t right, we leave or my children don’t eat the item and we find safe options elsewhere...Eating out Tips - Know before you Go
