You are here: Home / Food Allergy Lifestyle / Food Allergy Kids: Win 2 Weeks to Camp Contest!

March 10, 2014 By //  by Caroline Moassessi Leave a Comment

What could be finer than two weeks of real, unplugged, nut free summer camp fun on Cape Cod at Wingate Kirkland Overnight Camp?  Your child winning this experience by writing a short essay or submitting a video!  When I heard about this contest I felt tingling on my arms.  Finally, a traditional camp that is nut free and who work with other allergens and that has food allergy protocol in place that wants to include kids with food allergies.  It’s An Itchy Little World is the ring leader in hosting this contest and getting the word out!  Here are few highlights, but visiting “KIDS! Express Yourself and Win a Food Allergy Safe Summer Camp Adventure”. is where you will find all the necessary contact information and details.

Tools to consider for Eating Out

Eating out with Food Allergies can be quite challenging. For my family, we view eating out as a risk and we use a variety of tools to help us make educated choices.  Most importantly, if we get a gut feeling something isn’t right, we leave or my children don’t eat the item and we find safe options elsewhere...Eating out Tips - Know before you Go
