Fast and Delicious Nut Gluten Free Dessert

You are here: Home / Current Blog Post / Fast and Delicious Nut Gluten Free Dessert

Dolci Frutta Container 2Have you been here before?  You had a change of plans and need a last minute dessert.  Not just any dessert, but a nut free or allergen safe treat?  I have my favorite go to desserts, but this one is new to me:  Dolci Frutta Chocolate Hard Shell!  You simply microwave the container and dip, splash and get as creative as you want with the melted chocolate.   Connie Green, co-founder of the California Advocates for Food Allergies (CAFA) introduced me to a little gem.  If official, I have now stocked up on Dolci Frutta  in case of last minute dessert needs–my family LOVES this product.  Note:  as always, call the manufacturer to confirm their product is allergen safe based on your specific health needs and protocol.  What works for me, might be dangerous for you, so please check it out!  This product is nut free and gluten free, so it meets my needs perfectly.
Dolci frutta strawberries
We had last minute company last weekend and when I realized that I forgot about dessert, I didn’t sweat it.  Within minutes, dessert was served, devoured and loved!  I owe Connie a HUGE thank you for this perfect summer dessert.  We are plotting and planning our next dipping.  We are thinking ice cream cones, potato chips and cream cheese balls–not at the same time!

Do you have any down and dirty last minute food allergen safe treat ideas?  Please share!!  Summer hungry tummies want to know.

      Hi Aileen,
This makes me sooo happy! I always worry about if I brought anyone anything new or value. I really enjoyed SLC quite a bit and am running to my computer to write about the things I learned at the conference. The Utah families are really engaged and have their sleeves rolled up and ready to work and make a difference. You folks are quite impressive! Hopefully, I’ll see you again!
