Only a few days left to Christmas and it has been baking heaven in these parts! I thought it would be fun to share some down and dirty recipes that are allergy friendly and look fabulous. The beauty of well presented food is that our brains kick in and add to the culinary delight. Today, I made these little chocolate clusters that were adapted from a Mrs. Field’s I Love Chocolate Cookbook and my son’s own version. Presented in beautiful glass sleighs I bought during last year’s after Christmas sale for an amazing price, they look wonderful!
Check out these recipes:
Chocolate Clusters (Vegan) –these are made in the microwave too–(dairy, egg, nut, sesame seed and gluten free-Vegan)
Chocolate Applesauce Heart Cakes –you can make these into cupcakes if you don’t own heart shaped pans (dairy, egg, nut and sesame seed-Vegan)
Chocolate ganache –just put this on EVERYTHING (dairy, egg, nut, gluten and sesame seed free-Vegan)
Vegan banana muffins —add the chocolate ganache and few sprinkles and deliver on china for a hit (dairy, egg, nut and sesame seed free-Vegan)
Sunbutter Caramel Corn-Vegan, nut, dairy, egg, gluten and sesame seed free–this is the best and a 100% microwavable recipe (dairy, egg, nut, gluten and sesame seed free-Vegan)
The secret to giving allergy friendly baked goods is presentation!!!
My most favorite thing to do is to bake something simple, using the absolutely best ingredients possible and then present it on a china dish purchased at a thrift store or from TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc. as an odd ball left over plate from a set. They just make everything so special and feel so elegant or home spun if you are using a rustic basket or plate.
