Bravo CA! Just 1 more step #EPISavesLives

You are here: Home / Advocacy / Bravo CA! Just 1 more step #EPISavesLives

August 29, 2014 By //  by Caroline Moassessi Leave a Comment

I had another blog post planned for today, but after hearing yesterday’s good news, I had no choice to but pause and ask for your final support for our beloved California  Advocates for Food Allergies (CAFA)!  HUGE mountains were moved yesterday as SB1266 (Epinephrine in schools) was “concurred” by the California Senate. After endless hearings in various committees, SB1266 traveled through the Senate to the Assembly and then back to the Senate seeking “concurrence”, which means the Senate accepts all of the various amendments that were made along the way.  So, what does this mean to our California friends?  This mean Senator Huff (the bill sponsor), his staff (Heidi) and advocates have moved mountains and now only need the Governor to sign SB1266 into law!  YES!  JUST ONE MORE STEP TO PURE SUCCESS!
