Allergen Safe Foods and Fundraising!

You are here: Home / Food Allergy Lifestyle / Allergen Safe Foods and Fundraising!

August 8, 2013 By //  by Caroline Moassessi Leave a Comment

Now this is a fabulous marriage of fun, food and fundraising: Peanut Free Planet is hosting a Freeling Friday Fundraiser tomorrow to benefit my beloved Kids with Food Allergies (KFA)-a division of the Allergy and Asthma Foundation of America.  All we need to do is to place an order at  Peanut Free Planet and Allerific and 5% of all sales will be directly donated to KFA!  To make the party/fundraiser even more exciting, everyone ordering on Friday, August 9th, 2013 will receive..

  • A gift bag with one dozen special allergy friendly products
  • A special email-with coupons- on September 9th, 2013 that will be redeemable through October 9th, 2013
  • Bonus: in the event the special allergy friendly products run out, Peanut Free Planet will give you a $10 gift certificate for your next order
[/unordered_list] I’m a big fan of Peanut Free Planet and a bigger fan of KFA–so shopping + gifts = donation is a winner in my book!  To be honest, I’m blown away by the generosity of the gift bag.  Truly, I don’t need that incentive to shop, but…. there are some products I would love to sample.  The funny thing about this fundraiser is that I was going to order from Peanut Free Planet next week since school is starting here in Reno.  It’s nice to have save treats in my pantry for my school granola bar baking and last minute celebrations.   Peanut Free Planet has always been my one stop shopping website for sunflower seeds, chocolate,  baking ingredients and candy.

Please consider visiting Peanut Free Planet Freely Friday Fundraiser, Friday, August 9th to shop, treat yourself to a gift bag and raise some important funds!  Share the fundraising news with your family and friends too!

Tools to consider for Eating Out

Eating out with Food Allergies can be quite challenging. For my family, we view eating out as a risk and we use a variety of tools to help us make educated choices.  Most importantly, if we get a gut feeling something isn’t right, we leave or my children don’t eat the item and we find safe options elsewhere...Eating out Tips - Know before you Go
