2014 is about new challenges for me. So, in that spirit, I’m taking out this new blog format for a spin. I wanted to find new ways to share more information. Over the next two weeks, I’ll be updating my pages (Food Allergies, Asthma, etc) and will include more list of links to resources, books, products, etc., all geared toward things that make our lives better when managing life threatening asthma and food allergies and anaphylaxis. When I think back to 13 years ago and the resources that are available now versus then, I can’t help but grin from ear to ear.
I’m grateful I have place to shout out about life with food allergies and anaphylaxis and asthma!
I also think about cookbook author and food allergy education pioneers like Linda Coss or Lynda Mitchell of Kids With Food Allergies, who blazed the pathways for education and support long before I even knew what food allergies were! We’ve come a long way and we have much, much farther to go. Thankfully, we have this wonderful food allergy and asthma community that is linked face-to-face in towns, at conferences or connected via the Internet.
Linda Coss “back in the day”–before the Internet!
I’m going to be fussing around with design and hope to have a few design face lift by spring! Again..all comments or suggestions are welcome (caroline@gratefulfoodie.com)! I’m trying to think of a fun way to incorporate my Gratefulfoodie logo into this blog or … is this logo the right one for me? Again, your ideas are also welcomed!
