3 Reasons why FABlogCon 2015 Rocks

You are here: Home / Current Blog Post / 3 Reasons why FABlogCon 2015 Rocks

October 2, 2015 By //  by Caroline Moassessi 2 Comments

fablogconBesides getting to meet your favorite bloggers, eating incredible allergen aware meals inspired by Chef Keith Norman (he worked with event chefs) and learning, there are a more extra special things in store for us attending FABlogCon 2015.

  1. Double the WOW FACTOR.  FABlogcon visionary and organizer Jenny Sprague detailed, “A particular treat this year is that BOTH Dr Eric and Evan Edwards will be here- speaking on a panel together”.  The Edwards are famous for creating the Auvi-Q® after forgetting their epinephrine auto-injectors on a trip.  They vowed to find a solution and years later, they did.
  2. Things we Crave to Know.  I’ve been stalking Dr. Julie Brown on social media and can’t wait for her session on Epinephrine Auto-Injectors!  She has removed the mystery of how they work, which helps me with decision-making.  My daughter carries EpiPen® while my son carriesEpiPen®at school andAuvi-Q® for socializing.  Also, Dr. Michael Pistner will present Food Allergy 101 Q & A and Mortality–a very important must really know the facts kind of topic.
  3. FABlogCon Wishes for Us.  Jenny share, ” I hope at the end of this year’s event, we all go home with our hearts full, knowing we are not alone on this journey, that our community is forged stronger by the alliances, partnerships, and friendships we hone, and that we leave with knowledge to share with our home communities and families in helping us manage living with food allergies, celiac, and dietary restrictions”.

Fablogcon logoAre you attending?  Jenny reminds us that everyone is invited and, “if you manage special diets for your self or someone you care about- whether celiac, GF, Food allergies- ~ You will be welcomed into a supportive, caring community of people who GET IT!”

Need I say more?  I hope you are able to attend!  I will be there wearing my Allergic Living Contributor Hat (you know how much I love that magazine) and my Gratefulfoodie Cap!
