Will exercise make your allergic reaction worse? Can one out grow a dairy or egg allergy? Just when do you give epinephrine? Am I over reacting if I don’t see epinephrine being used in the Emergency Room (ER)? Inquiring minds want to know! In the spirit of Food Allergy Awareness Month, Allergic Living magazine produced a free e-book, “18 things to know about Food Allergic Reactions”. Note: I am supremely biased towards Gwen Smith and her tribe at Allergic Living Magazine and have been honored to contribute to Allergic Living Magazine.
Allergic Living spoke to several top physicians and researchers to create this free (I need to mention FREE as many times as possible), short and to the point primer that covers the top 18 things to know!
It’s downloadable and you might find this a useful tool to share when talking about food allergies with others. Anaphylaxis is complex and success can be ours if we are able to break down this complex disease into smaller pieces that folks can digest. I personally like the idea of 18 points since I will be able to easily share the entire document and then highlight points that I am trying to share at that moments!

Hi Kevin,
Agreed, the source is key. Can’t fight the battle if we can’t identify the enemy right?
