Two things I hold with high respect in my life: Start up business and the Auvi-Q® epinephrine auto-injector. Some of the world’s best innovations and solutions rise up from individuals with ideas. The Edwards boys brought the Auvi-Q® to life and Carry Nine founder, Stephane Oatway, has committed to supporting teens and adults who want to carry their epineprhine auto-injectors with style and ease. Although, Carry Nine is not endorsed or supported by Auvi-Q® or EpiPen® manufacturers, Stephanie works on easy solutions to inspire carrying these life saving medications.
Note: I was not paid by or asked Carry Nine to write positive things or anything about their products. I contacted them with interest and was delighted to test out their items. My goal is share what I find with you. What I think is wonderful, might not work for you. What works for you, may never hold up in my household. This is the beauty of sharing information in a community! As always, before you make any changes to your health care protocol, speak to your physician–they are the experts.
My family was very fortunate to test out the Auvi-Q® single carry wallet and skin. My sixteen year old son Cyrus put the wallet to task! “I like the convenience of being able to carry an Auvi-Q®, my driver’s license and money”. The wallet allows you to store up to three credit cards along with a pocket to tuck in money. My son prefers to carry two Auvi-Q® and was pleased to hear a double carrier is in the works. But, my eleven year old daughter caught wind of the product and said liked the wallet carrier quite a bit. At this point in time, she carries two EpiPen® epinephrine auto-injector and was happy to hear that an EpiPen® wallet is on the horizon. Both kids were thrilled about the idea of new kind of carrier that has a more mature stylish look and feel that is dressier and not as athletic looking. Even thought the styles seems masculine, I agree with my daughter, I like the wallet concept quite a bit and I would happily carry the wallet myself.
Basically, we have moved into the space of needing epinephrine auto-injectors the same way we need shoes: some for athletics, casual or dressy! I guess it’s time to add a new category to shopping: epinephrine carriers.
My daughter was excited over the skins that partially cover the epinephrineauto-injectors and thought those were very cool. These did not tickle my son’s fancy as he wants to the blaringAuvi-Q® label out there loud, but understands that not all teens might now feel the same. I’m actually, very excited to see the upcoming EpiPen® wallet and Auvi-Q® holster with clip. I’ve seen many men with cell phones clipped on their belts, so I’m curious to see if the epinephrine auto-injector holster would pique their interest too?!
Everyone lives life so differently with so many various needs. I’m happy to see new products emerging to meet our diverse life styles.

I’m a big fan of Carry Nine too. The leather smell of their wallets is heavenly and you can really feel the quality and durability in the product. And a personal bias, I love that they are made in Canada!
Very handy product there! That is an incredibly good and useful idea for people with allergies!
